Lent Course
Commenced 22nd February led by John Booth and Chris Hammett.
We will be using the Archbishops recommended book "Living His Story" by Hannah Steele - you will need to purchase your own copy of the book from online retailers.
The purpose of the book is to help us become more comfortable about sharing our faith with others.
The meetings will be on Zoom and will also include an opportunity for times of fellowship as we prepare ourselves for Easter.
There will be two opportunities to join us: Tuesday at 7:30pm and a day time group on either Monday or Friday afternoon.
Please can you email John ( your preference.

Get Outside in Lent     Click Here
Each week there are six ideas for things to do outside and a celebration suggestion - because even in lent Sunday is a celebration day. Pick and choose what you would like to do. Change it and make it your own if you want to, or just do what it says. More than anything , enjoy being outside, take time to connect with nature, with anyone else you might be sharing this with, and with the something outside yourself that Christians would call God.

Similar to the above resource this is for those who struggle to get outside or would prefer to reflect from the comfort of their armchair. A series of ideas for connecting with creation for people who are unable to get outside easily. There is one idea for each week and although they don't actively mention Lent, they are springtime orientated, gently Christian and so hopefully could be used through Lent with people who have no specific connection with the church as well as those who do.

On Wednesdays from 2:30 pm Revd Angela, Mary Blanchard and Jane Small are hosting a new zoom group called 'Time4Tea'.

Important Notice about Public Worship
The Archbishops of Canterbury and York are calling for Church of England Churches to put public worship on hold and become a “different sort of church” in the coming months to face the challenge of coronavirus.
Please do read this statement and join us along with the Archbishops in prayers.
For those who have planned a baptism, wedding or funeral we are awaiting advice as to whether these can continue.
If you wish to speak with Revd Paula or Revd Lulu the number is 01327 350459.

Please do share this post widely and let people not on Social Media know.
